Spaghetti Sauce

I think just about every person out there has their own way of making spaghetti sauce. This is mine:

1 lb ground beef or italian sausage

1 small onion

3 cloves garlic

1-2 tsp fennel seeds

1 med can tomato sauce

1 med can diced tomatoes, don't drain

2-3 TB italian seasoning

1-2 tsp onion powder

1-2 tsp garlic powder

1-2 TB red wine vinegar

1-2 tsp tabasco, or red pepper flakes

salt and pepper to taste

fresh basil and parsely if available

Over med heat saute beef, garlic and onion until beef is brown and onions are soft. Add remaining ingredients to desired taste. Simmer for about fifteen minutes until sauce is desired consistency. Enjoy!

This is so crazy that you posted the sauce recipe. We have a little pot garden on our back patio and I wanted to use the Basil a few days ago to make spaghetti sauce. I don't have a homemade sauce recipe and I thought "I should call Teresa I bet she has a great one" but it was sunday and just ended up using jar sauce. So thanks I'm really excited.

Cool! I LOVE fresh basil, we don't have any right now because we're moving, but it's awesome!

may I make a request? can you post your asian salad recipe that I devoured that one time at your house? I know it was easy but I can't remember what all was in it and I think my kids MIGHT eat it, so it's worth a try
